CIF D3 Playoffs: Clinched 10th consecutive appearance with a share of the Tri-Valley League title. Fell 6-12 to Windward High School in the first round.

All-League Honors: Alyna Takahashi – Singles First Team; Aminah Hill – Singles Second Team; Ashi Kamra/Colette Chang – Doubles First Team; Emily May/Ella Chang – Doubles Second Team

Best Win(s): Santa Barbara High, 10-8. Dos Pueblos, 10-8. San Marcos, 11-7. For the first time sweeping the local public schools, Cate took the crown of best team in Santa Barbara County.

CIF D1 Playoffs: Eighth consecutive playoff appearance. Lost to CIF D1 first round 8-10 to Calabasas High.

All-League Honors: Grace Fuss/Carol Cai – Doubles Champions, Ashi Kamra/Fritze Mayer – Singles First Team, Julianna Forry/Maesa Vongkusolkit – Doubles Second Team, Yuki Kobayashi – Singles Second Team.

2017

Regular Season Record: 13-1 (10-0 in TVL)

Highest Ranking: Division 1 (Top-30 in CIF Southern Section)

Best Win: Santa Barbara High, 12-6

CIF D1 Playoffs: Sixth consecutive playoff appearance. Battled gamely in 6-12 loss to Mira Costa, a team featuring five nationally ranked players.

All-League Honors: Grace Fuss – Singles Runner-Up, Jackie Cai/Carol Cai – Doubles Champions, Sarah Polowczak/Janice Ng – Doubles Runner-Up – Sydney Burton, Singles Second Team. The Cai Sisters went on to qualify for CIF Finals and reached the Round-of-16 before losing to the eventual runners-up.

2016

Regular Season Record: 10-1 (8-0 in TVL)

Highest Ranking: #1 in CIF D2 (finished #4)

Best Win: Thacher (twice), the defending CIF D5 Champions; Xavier Prep 69-68 in playoffs

CIF D2 Playoffs: Fifth consecutive playoff appearance. Defeated Oak Park handily, then Xavier in a 9-9 tie to reach the quarterfinal round. Fell 7-11 to Riverside Poly (made CIF finals the 3 previous seasons)

All-League Honors: Grace Fuss – Singles Runner-Up, Jackie Cai/Carol Cai – Doubles Champions, Summer Christensen/Sarah Polowczak – Doubles Runner-Up, Eva Herman/Janice Ng – Doubles 2nd Team.

Award Winners: Summer Christensen – MVP, Katherine Grossman – Most Improved, Jackie Cai – Coaches’ Award

Regular Season Record: 13-1 (8-0 in Tri-Valley League)

Highest Ranking: #5 in CIF D2

Best Win: Simi Valley on parents’ weekend, 10-8 (recap)

CIF D2 Playoffs: Won several matches, including a big win over Oak Park en-route to a quarterfinal loss against Murrieta Valley. Murrieta fielded three players in the top 150 in the country and went on to become the two-time CIF runner-up.

All-League Honors: Julia Gan – Singles Champion, Jackie Cai – Singles Runner-Up, McKenna Madden/Summer Christensen – Doubles Runner-Up, Eva Herman/Janice Ng – Doubles 1st Team.

Award Winners: Julia Gan – MVP, Janice Ng – Most Improved, Emma Liberman – Coaches’ Award

CIF D2 Playoffs: Entered as a wildcard and won first match, followed by a loss to eventual CIF Runner-Up Murrieta Valley.

All-League Honors: Julia Gan/McKenna Madden – Doubles Runner-Up, Kate Dehlendorf/Victoria Herman – All-League 2nd Team

Regular Season Record: 6-6 (5-1 in Condor League)

Best Win: Overturned a 6-12 loss during regular season play to score an 11-7 playoff victory over Orcutt Academy, the #7-seed.

CIF D4 Playoffs: Beat Orcutt (#7 in CIF) and then Windward to reach the quarterfinal round before losing 3-15 to eventual CIF Runner-Up Redlands High School.
